Additional Information Harold Suckling was born in Walthamstow, Essex in 1911 he was an 11 year old school boy and residing at 22 Camden Road, Walthamstow with his father a Brewer's Labourer, mother two older daughters one a Straw Hat Band Maker aged 18 and the other a Blouse Maker aged 15 his elder brother a Telegraph Messenger aged 16. Harold enlisted at Stratford (Essex) and was killed in action France 2 September 1918 aged 19 years whilst serving with the 2nd Battalion. The son of Frederick and Rosina Suckling of 14 Herbert Road, Walthamstow he is commemorated by name on the Vis En Artois Memorial.
